Cat in a Flower Pond | Marble Jewellery Dish

Sweet little cat sits in a flowery pond. This jewellery dish is perfect for rings and other small jewellery. Rings can stack on top of the cat.

🎀 This is a PRE-ORDER ITEM. I will custom make these as orders come in. It can take up to 3 weeks to complete a dish so please take that into consideration when ordering this. Once it's finished, they'll be shipped immediately.

💗 This gorgeous piece is first hand sculpted from clay, dried for a few hours. The next day, it is buffed and sponged to smooth the clay. It's then dried for a week, then placed in the kiln for 24 hours for a bisque firing up to 1000 degrees celsius. Once bisqued, it's painted and glazed. After drying for 24 hours, it goes back into the kiln for another 24 hours for a glaze firing. The final step is to add glass marbles which melt in the kiln and become the shiny watery surface. It's then placed back into the kiln for a day again, for a third and final firing. A lot of love goes into this piece! 

💗 The blue "water" is made from melted marbles. There may be slight variations in the "water" colour as different marbles are used.

💗 This listing is for ONE jewellery dish. It's approximately 10cm wide. Every dish is handmade, so the piece you receive may differ from the image on the website. Please understand that handmade pieces are never the same!
